Importance of Labour Welfare in Tea Estates: A Literature Review

Abstract

The term labour welfare here aims at well being of the labours. This paper through various literature highlights why labour welfare is important and how it is beneficial to the labour and indirectly affects the economy. The paper concludes with the finding that ignorance among the labour about the welfare facilities available for them is leading to their exploitation.
