Abstract: | This article focuses on preparing a composite material with tunable or multiple absorption, and subsequently achieving modulated luminescence spanning the entire visible region. The methodology involved includes synthesizing an organic-inorganic framework comprising organic ligands, namely stilbene (STB) dye molecules, anchored on a YAG:Ce nanophosphor surface. We explored the changes in the spectroscopic properties and established the energy transfer between the organic ligands. The synthesized samples were characterized by x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), and photoluminescence (PL) techniques. We analyzed the hydrodynamic size of the composite, which was found to be enlarged relative to the bare nanophosphor. The zeta potential, mobility, and conductivity of the composite were estimated and found to be considerably altered compared with the YAG:Ce. Spectroscopic investigation was performed under single and dual laser excitation (405, 450, [405+450] nm) and incident power. The luminescence intensity of the composite yielded ~15% higher emission than the YAG:Ce nanophosphor. The color chromaticity coordinates and correlated color temperature (CCT) were estimated, and it was observed that the color coordinates varied systematically. The variation in spectroscopic parameters with external stimuli including laser power was monitored. |
