Abstract: | The study of axon tracts is important in neurophysiology. In this paper, we study axon tracts with arbitrary geometry and present a governing equation for ephaptic coupling among the constituent axons. We derive this equation and simulate it, obtaining a novel, geometry-dependent, delayed coupling phenomenon. This has relevance for how an axon tract communicates data in a neurological network. |
