dc.description.abstract | The methodology of estimation of population mean in the presence of one of the nonsampling errors has advanced considerably in recent years. Nevertheless, most research in this area has addressed the estimation of population mean in the presence of nonresponse and measurement error independently. In this article, I present a new estimator by considering two kinds of nonresponse error, namely, nonresponse and measurement error, by using auxiliary information. Theoretically and empirically, it has been shown that the proposed estimator is more efficient than usual unbiased estimator and other existing estimators. © 2016 Grace Scientific Publishing, LLC. | en_US |
