Abstract: Organizational identity bas been approached as cornerstone for survival strategy. Literature has tried to conceptualize the organizational identity by focusing either on distinctive organizational characteristics or on similarities among its peer. Organizational identity essentially reflects the subjective judgments of the organization in relation to its respecti ve organizations in peer set (Dutton and Dukerich, 1994).
