Abstract: The overall purpose of this research paper is to unearth current research gaps in relation to five variables i.e. quality of work life, personality, organizational commitment, performance appraisal and job performance for future systematic empirical investigations. Nine research gaps related to these variables have been identified through a desk research study. The conceptual confusion is one of the research gaps and it relates to quality of work life as well as job performance.
