Abstract: Just in Time manufacturing is a management philosophy of achieving major enhancement in a process through elimination of different types of waste. This study attempts to identify useful contributions in the field of Just in Time manufacturing philosophy. Literature related to concept, case studies, surveys have been systematically reviewed and important benefits achieved after implementing JIT approach have been discussed.
