dc.description.abstractMultimedia Databases allow users to accumulate and query different types of multimedia information, which includes images, video clips, audio clips and documents. Storage and retrieval from the conventional databases like file server and relational database are inadequate for the multimedia data because of high disk I/O usage, which is a potential bottleneck for most of the multimedia database systems.-
