As a proportion of Gross Domestic Product, the IT Industry revenue has grown from 1. 2 % In 1998 to an estimated 8.2 % In 2014. The software products market In India, includes accounting software and cloud computingbased telephony services. Apart from wealth creation and large export earnings, Indian IT industry has also provided large scale employment to educated and skilled work-force.
