Managing a Mobile Computing Initiative in a Business School

Abstract

This paper presents a systems approach to launching a mobile computing initiative in the school of business of a public university The vision of this initiative is that all students, irrespective of their economic status, have a mobile computing device capable of interfacing with instructional delivery systems within the University computing network and on Internet from anywhere (classrooms, residential halls, library, and others).
