dc.description.abstract	Weavers' Cooperative Societies (WCS) are formed to uplift the economic condition of poor weavers. In the present research work, an attempt is made to study the economic impact of workings of WCS on member- weavers in Bargarh district, which is situated in western Orissa. For the purpose, 9 WCS, 218 members were selected by stratified random sampling method. Primary data were collected by using schedule for members. Findings are highlighted and suggestions are given on the basis of analysis and interpretation of both primary and secondary data.	-
