dc.description.abstractM V Subbiah is a 3rd generation member of the Murugappa family. He is the former Chairman of Murugappa Group and retired in January 2004 after working 43 years in the family business. Currently, he serves as the Managing Trustee of their Family Foundation (A.M.M. Foundation), which operates four schools, four hospitals, a polytechnic college and a research centre for bringing appropriate technologies to the villages of India.-
