Abstract

This book consists of six chapters embedded in two Parts. Part-I deals with Fundamentals- Construction claims and BIM/VDC (Building Information Modeling/ Virtual Design and Construction) for which the chapters elucidated are i) Traditional construction claims, ii) General overview of BIM and VDC. Part-II covers, iii) Standard of care and workmanlike performance, iv) Legal issues and claims considerations v) Methods and techniques for analysis of claims involving BIM/ VDC vi) Preventative measures for enabling BIM/VDC success.
