A multichannel bidi rectional dynamic data trans-mission system (DDTS) through a rotary interface with onefiber is designed based on a fabricated single pass fiber op-tic rotary joint. The feasibility of transmission system istested at both 1310- and 1550-nm wavelength bands. Theperformance of this DOTS was measured using optical spec-trum analyzer and lightwave multimeter. The insertion lossesof DOTS were 1.55 and 1.20 dB at 1310- and 1550-nmwavelength bands, respectively. The total bandwidth of theDOTS is more than 170 nm.-
