Abstract

BHEL manufactures over one hundred and eighty products under thirty major product groups and meet the needs of the co re sector like power Industry, Transmission, Def ense, Telecommunications, Oil Business e. tc. Tec hnically, Working Capital management is a integral part of the overall financial management. This study is based on Primary as well as secondary data source. The aims of the study is to analyze the overall working capital management system in BHEL, Hyderabad and to obtain existing scenarios of debt 's management collection period, Cash system, Inv entory procurement which are studied to co-relate with the working capital management component.
