Impact of Mobile Phone Usage Among Young Adult: An Empirical Study

Abstract

In the current digital era, the introduction of modern technological gadgets has captured the attention of global population. The dependency of people on these technological gadgets is very high. The degree of dependency is leading to addiction of the tech-devices and ervices. Youth is the most vulnerable group among the population to be habituated towards one of such technological devi e , mobile phone. The study was de igned to study the usage of mobile phone by young adults i.e. the time spent, the purpo es,&problem faced, if any and its impact on themBoth primary and econdary data were collected by the researcher. Using structured questionnaire and ob ervati n by the researcher, primary data was collected an<l secondary data collected from various published sources. Appropriate tatistical tools were used forana lyzing the datato draw meaningful conclusion. The study revealed that though the respondents use mobile phones optimistically, no doubt, there too exists adverse impact on them.
