Abstract: | lndustry Academia collaboration is now acknowledaed a an important component offearning for students as well, especially in the P DM (MBA) program in business school . The special program (llP) conceived and implemented by chi busine s school has its genesis in the not so fruitful programs of summer internship followed by most busine s schools in Indi a. The id ea has grown and now is a significant part of the curriculum. Performance of students in this program is co rrelated with their academic performance (CGPA), especially for tho e in the high sala ry bracket in their final placement .Again, personality traits like hard work and dependability determine the student's performance in LIP, exp ressed in terms of total sco re obtained. Person~ lity Development Program (PEP) also influences performance in TlP. Different categories of performance in llP i differentially affected by CGPA, while there does not seem to be any ignificant correlation between salary obtained and different categories of performance in II P. |
