Abstract: An incubation experiment was conducted to study the effect of different amendments on micronutrient availability in a sodic soil of ESP 24. 6 over a period of 12 weeks under saturated moisture condition by applying organic and inorganic amendments viz. , gypsum, FYM, green manure and paddy straw. The soil samples analyzed at 1st, 2nd, 4'\ 6th, 8th and 12th week indicated that, the extent of reduction in ESP was ranged from 31. 0-51. 6 per cent in treated soils as compared to control (25. 3-23. 8 %). The application of T6 - 50% GR + green manure is increased Zn and Fe availability (0. 37-0. 85 and 1. 51-2. 64 ppm, respectively) as compared to initial values (0. 28-0. 34 and 1. 22-1. 28 ppm, respectively.
