dc.description.abstractWellness is a conscious and deliberate approach to an advanced state—of physical, psychological, and spiritual health. Though the concept of 'wellnese-kas been in existence for decades, employeewellness is a new concept. Employee wellness programs are intervention strategies intended to promote the wellbeing of employees. It could be either curative or preventative in nature. The present study attempts to find out the difference in the wellness of employees working in the Information Technology and Public sector organizations. Results reveal that there is a significant difference between the two classes of employees with respect to the overall employee wellness and its three components viz. Personal wellness, Social wellness and Moral wellness. The study also found that there is a significant difference between male and female respondents with respect to most of the components of the Employee wellness. A significant difference was also observed among different age groups with respect to employee wellness. With regard to marital status no significant difference was found in employee wellness.-
