Abstract

A Self-Help Group (SHG) is an informal association of 10-20 persons, who have voluntarily come together for the business of saving and credit and to enhance the members' financial security as primary focus and other common interests of members such as area development, awareness, motivation, leadership, training and associating in other social intermediation programs for the benefit of the entire community.
