| Abstract: | A field study was conducted during kharif 2012 to evaluate different non-chemical treatments for control of brinjal shoot and fruit borer (L. orbonalis Guen. ). The results revealed that neem oil 0. 5% recorded lowest shoot damage (7. 77%) and fruit damage (9. 62% and 9. 24%, number and weight basis, respectively) with highest marketable yield (402. 80 q/ha) followed by treatments, infested shoot and fruit pruning at weekly interval, application of SKE 5%. The highest incremental cost benefit ratio (ICBR) was observed in neem oil 0. 5%. |
