Organizational Citizenship Behaviour of Academic and Non- Academic Workforce in Institutions of Higher Educational- a Empirical Study

Abstract

Professionals are supposed to perform a wide variety o f extra-role activities known as Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB). Organizational citizenship behaviour is a valuable instrument for accomplishing the organizational goals rather than fulfilling duties. In simple words, it means behaviours o f an individual that are favourable to the organization at large but not directly recognized by the formal reward system.
