dc.description.abstractPersonnel numagement practices are the supporting activities for the survival of any nature of business unit. Labor is one of the pillars of the business writ. Hence, the employment of personnel /,as a special significance in the business world. The health of any business unit or organization depends upon the wage payment, industrial relations, working conditions and other welfare facilities provided by the entrepreneurs to their employees. In the case of textile shops, the employees are expected tu satisfy the customers. The entrepreneurs are not in a position to look after every need ufthe customers. Therefore, the entrepreneurs are fully dependent on the working of their employees. The employees will also do their work well if the entrepreneurs follow proper personnel management practice.
