dc.description.abstract | Organizational performance management builds on the foundation and insight of how organizations work and the common barriers to productivity and efficiency. In_the United States, the perceived driving force_ behind organizational productivity and efficiency is the Chief Executive Office (CEO). For the purpose of discussion, we will introduce the term of ·"CEO-savior" as a metaphor defining the sociological and organizational development paradigm of how CEOs are revered and considered magical messiahs embodying the great hope that they will lead the organization to an enchanted and ideal "promised 1and" as a result of their singular presence, actions, and decisions alone. This construct is an exploration of the issues that influence the behavior of the CEO and how the culture of an organization positively or negatively reshapes human behavior toward the achievement of organizational goals. | - |
