Determinants of Stock Prices in BSE Listed Companies

Abstract

This paper seeks to examine the empiricai relationship between equity share prices and explanatOJJ' variables such as- dividend per share, earnings per share, book value, payout ratio, price earnings ratio, return 011 capital employed, growth and market capitalization in !he selected companies. An attempt has also been made lo identify the most significant variables affecting share prices to enable !he companies in making optimal managerial decisions.
