Abstract: The studies held in the past (published and unpublished) suggest that there are moderator effects on the magnitude of relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. A meta-analysis Davar (2004) approach of sample correlations {k=35) finds that a mean correlation of the order {=0. 52) was estimated for uncorrected correlations and {=0.63) was found for corrected correlations (rxx=0. 84 and ryy =0. 82). These estimates. are close to Hunter et al. (1982) fiaameworkfor meta-analysis (=0. 54 uncorrected and =0.67 corrected for reliability levels of rxx =0. 84 and ryy =0.82. )
