Abstract: | Catharanlhus roseus is an important medicinal plant which produce a number of bioactive compounds showing anti-microbial, anti-cancer, anti-diabetic and anti-fungal properties. From this plant a number of nanoparticles are also synthesized which are very useful in ug targeting against a number of disease causing microorganism. The present review represents the phannacological importance of Catha ran thus roseus and gives a detailed account of the various bioactive compound isolated from it. |
