Abstract: In the present paper, an attempt was made to analyze the demographic characteristics of the population and standard of living in three newly formed states, that is, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, and a comparison was made with their mother states and India. We also tried to analyze the impact of population growth on standard of living, and we found a significant negative impact of population growth on living standards.
