Education plays an important role in the growth and development of a human being and in turn the growth of a nation. As of now, education is one of the most powerful and effective tools to transform the behaviour of a human being and also the most vibrant tool for the socio-cultural, economic and political transformation of society. Providing education is the primary duty of the state. Education also can be provided by non-state agencies like religious institutions, NGOs, community-based groups, trusts, enterprises and individual proprietors. The educational institutions established by the religious and linguistic minorities under the Constitution of India cater to the needs of marginalized and needy people of the society without making any differences on the basis of caste, creed, religious belief and language. While conserving the culture and language of their own, these minority educational institutions protect the Indian culture and tradition at large.en_US
