Abstract: | The phrase “Intellectual property” refers to ‘creations of human mind’1 , that has been created by human brain or intellect. Regardless of its intangible nature intellectual property is an extremely important asset for generating financial security. The combined value of intellectual property and the hidden property is the primary engine for global economic growth. For this reason, many large firms throughout the world have spent astronomical sums on developing of their proprietary material. 'Intellectual property' is a statutory phrase with special meaning. The term "IP" is now more often referred to as intellectual property rights (IPR). According to Americas’ largest dictionary2 , “Intellectual Property means Property that results from original creative thought, as patents, copyright material, and trademarks” |
