Abstract: E-commerce and M-commerce are used by everyone in today’s world. Everyone is depending on these technologies to buy things and to do their daily activities. A nation's economy and its citizens have benefited greatly from the advent of e-commerce, but the Internet's openness has also led to abuse of personal data. To safeguard the privacy of their residents' and businesses' personal information, several nations have passed laws and regulations. on e-Commerce, the right to privacy and data protection is essential. These rights are linked to security and trust, two of the main issues that e-users face on e-Commerce platforms. The protection of user privacy during online transactions has become increasingly important over time. Data privacy, as well as other legal difficulties such as the ineffectiveness of the current Indian legislation un addressing e-Commerce problems, are among the legal challenges in e-commerce. This paper analyses various other laws along with the Indian laws.
