dc.description.abstract | This research brings into light the unsustainable environmental practices followed by the fast fashion industry and the urgent need to regulate these brands at the earliest. With its unsustainable practises contributing to large carbon emissions, water depletion and pollution, as well as exploitation of landfills the fast fashion sector has been recognised as a major contributor to environmental deterioration. This research discusses about UNFCCC, UNEP etc. will pertain to the regulation of this industry. This research will also concentrate on how the circular economy which may lessen waste and pollution and encourage reuse and recycling, can be used by the fast fashion brands hence by promoting sustainable fashion, the research will emphasise the need for more sustainable business models and practises in the fashion sector. | en_US |
