Abstract: This study examines the development of the electronic fund transfer [EFT] service in India and evaluates customers' perceptions regarding various dimensions of the quality of service and of overall customers' satisfaction about the service as provided by public and private sector banks. The required data was collected through customers' survey (N= 150) based on a Likert scale-based questionnaire and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS 19.0.
