A study of Mutual Fund Investors Expectations and Investment Decisions-An Indian Evidence

Abstract

Mutual funds in India have become an increasingly important investment vehicle for individual investors. The number of funds operating in the country and the schemes offered by them backed by stringent monitoring have increased manifold. Unfortunately, the growth in mutual fund assets has not been paralleled by an ensuing focus on the factors which influence mutual fund investors decision making.
