Explores the leaveism phenomena and its effects in modern workplaces. Leaveism is the practice of using paid time off, such as vacation days or personal time, for work-related activities. The study looks into the origins, prevalence, and effects of leaveism as well as possible solutions to the problem. The study makes contributions to both theoretical and practical fields. The study expands our theoretical understanding of leaveism as a unique type of employee behavior by examining its causes and effects within the broader context of work-life balance. Practically speaking, the study offers organizations useful insights that aid in the development of initiatives and policies to lessen the detrimental effects of leaveism on worker well-being and productivity. Aims to grasp leaveism in-depth, along with the consequences it has on organizations and people. By shedding light on the complex dynamics of leaviesm, this research contributes to the development of empirically supported policies and procedures that promote healthier and more environmentally friendly working conditions in modern workplaces.en_US
