Employee performance reviews are a crucial component of talent management and organizational success. While traditionally viewed as a routine assessment process, they possess significant potential as a strategic management tool. Performance evaluations are a tool for assessing an employee's work performance, pinpointing their strengths and areas for development, and offering helpful criticism. However, the scope of performance reviews extends beyond mere evaluation. When approached strategically, performance reviews can drive organizational effectiveness by aligning individual goals with organizational objectives, enhancing communication and collaboration, and facilitating employee development. The goal of this research is to give a complete examination of how organizations may fully utilize employee performance evaluations as a strategic management tool. It will look into the numerous factors that influence the efficacy of performance appraisals, such as design, implementation, feedback methods, and the importance of organizational culture. The research will also investigate the problems and potential hurdles to effective implementation, as well as potential solutions to these challengesen_US
