dc.description.abstract | Nowadays e-commerce has become an important medium of international shopping and there has been a growth which has been seen tremendously over the past several years. The emergence of the Internet has brought about a substantial change in how items are currently purchased and sold, as it happened in the trade system as well. Since then, customers around the world have greatly benefited from the convenience of doing business online. E-commerce, also known as electronic commerce and Internet commerce, refers to the purchasing and selling of products or services over an online platform, that necessitates the transmission of funds as well as information to complete the transaction.1 The technology of e-commerce links together a dynamic set of applications and business processes that enable companies to connect with shoppers and societies via digital interactions and the exchange of information, services, and products.2 The evolution of digital commerce, stemming from advances in computing and the internet, has led to the need for global rules to manage privacy, unwanted communication, and competition arising from data flow across borders.3 | en_US |
