Abstract: | The COVID-19 virus causes significant changes in human lives and livelihoods; the only way to slow its spread is to preserve social distance and abide by government-proposed standards. Not to mention that sterilization and sanitization are now synonymous with our everyday existence. When it comes to sanitization and sterilization, there is a problem that prevents humans from directly participating in the process due to the possibility of contracting the deadly virus from the contaminated area. However, this problem can be solved by creating a strong, effective, and autonomous robot that can easily sterilize an area without endangering humans. There are numerous applications for robots where there is a chance of human exposure. Using an ESP8266, some UV LEDs, and IR & PIR sensors, we will be constructing an ultraviolet sanitization robot in this tutorial that can eradicate the coronavirus in the hospital and apartment complex. Created to offer dependable and effective disinfection in a range of healthcare environments. Utilizing the latest developments in robotics, AI, and UV-C technology, the suggested robot provides a holistic approach to reduce the danger of contagious microorganisms. Developing and using self-contained UV-C sterilization robots is a viable strategy to tackle the persistent problems associated with infection control in hospital settings. These creative solutions have the potential to transform disinfection procedures and protect public health globally by fusing the strengths of robots, artificial intelligence, and UV-C technology. |
