dc.description.abstract | The foundation of the fashion enterprise may be dated to the contemporary period. The vast majority of handcrafted clothes was made by dressmakers and tailors until the middle of the 19th century. Things such as the sewing machine, the development of global capitalism, the establishment of the factory mechanism, and the expansion of the department shops have completely altered how clothing was manufactured. Garments made in regular sizes and sold at fixed prices were massed ashore. Although Europe and America were the first countries to see clothing production take off, it has since evolved into a genuinely worldwide industrial product. A fashion label may now acquire materials from one country, create things in another country, and send them everywhere across the world. Even though USA is a significant employer in this sector but in past decade the rate of employment in USA has declined as companies are shifting towards cheaper workforce nations like China, India, and Bangladesh | en_US |
