Abstract: | The exponential growth in the usage of social media, especially during the pandemic and postpandemic era, has opened Pandora's box for organizations to explore the applications of social media tools in their individual sectors/ departments. The human resource (HR) department is not an exception. HR is the backbone of any organisation as it plays a crucial role starting from recruitment of the right person for the right job to employee engagement and termination of the employment contract. With the emergence of work-from-home (WFH) culture, HR functions have become more complex and the traditional tools of HR are just not sufficient to solve this complexity. In this scenario, social media tools integrated with the Recruitment process have become the hotcake for every organization to sustain in the competitive market. |
