Abstract: | The COVID-19 pandemic response on a global scale has increased remote work, causing a period of change in traditional business. Globally, businesses have been compelled to alter their technology and business procedures drastically, which has led them to reconsider long-standing HRM (Human Resource Management) conventions. The epidemic has acted as a catalyst, speeding up the use of technology and altering expectations among employers and employees. The COVID-19 epidemic has not only had a catastrophic impact on the world’s economy, but it is also posing currently unseen difficulties for top HR strategists in striking a balance between the demands of their companies and their workforce. The abrupt late change brought attention to higher levels of workers in the organized sector as well as problems with absenteeism and disturbance, which notably harm workers. The violence has led to waves of homelessness, causing many people to go back to where they were previously living, highlighting the pandemic's socioeconomic effects on employees. |
