The goal of this dissertation is to present an overview of the edible oil industry's supply chain network, with a particular emphasis on the crucial elements of quality control, optimization, and sustainability. With a market size of about 24.7 million tons in 2023 and projected to grow to 27.9 million tons by 2032, the edible oil sector plays a major role in the Indian economy. A wide variety of goods, such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and specialty oils, define this industry.en_US
