Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic's disruptive influence extended far beyond the realm of public health, creating a global economic crisis. Stock markets worldwide experienced significant volatility, and India was no exception. This study delves into the specific effects of the pandemic on two crucial sectors of the Indian economy: Information Technology (IT) and Pharmaceuticals. Prior to the pandemic, the Indian IT industry enjoyed a period of sustained growth.
