Abstract: | Kevlar is a synthetic aramid fiber with many fascinating properties such as high tensile strength to weight ratio, high physical stability, flexibility, and electrical conductivity, due to which it has gained enormous applications. Kevlar has received much attention in diverse fields like defense, aerospace, biomedical and automobile industries. During the past decade, Kevlar fabric-based composites and their mechanical properties have been thoroughly studied and compared with natural fibers and composites. Analysis of thermal behavior of Kevlar fabricbased composites helps to determine their applications and performance at elevated temperatures. In the present chapter, an effort has been put to focus on thermal and Viscoelastic characteristics of Kevlar Fabric based composites. © 2022 Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved. |
