Abstract: Architectural studies indicate that the old forts built by the Rajputs, Moghuls and Marat has had slopes and broad doors and even the elephants who carried food supplies and ammunition could pass through conveniently. In the 21st century civilization however with advanced technological development a child with disability and on wheelchair cannot go Lo school due to infrastructural inadequacies. People with disability constitute a significant section of population in developing countries, including India. This action research paper identifies and lists the various projects which Heed to be categorized as social infrastructure enabling the inclusion of people with disability in the mainstream, thus giving 1he111 equal opportunities to grow, prosper and contribute to the nation's progress- economically, culturally and socially. lmplementi11g these social infrastructure projects within a given timeframe, recommending stakeholders to operatio11ally see through the successful completion of these enabling environments is the Jorns of the study.
