Abstract: Hate Criminality is a phenomenological concept, and it is difficult to define, measure, and explain. This topic has fascinated me in many aspects. I understood that there is no exclusive law for HATE CRIMES in India. This sharpened my thoughts and made me focus on the need for such typology of crime to be included exclusively in our punitive law. The key areas I intend to discuss are the specific areas we generally know as a typical crime under our existing criminal justice system. I decided to get them concentrated in a different perspective to treat them under one cloud called "HATE CRIMINALITY." The criminal Acts which are clubbed under hate crimes exhibit unique characteristic feature wherein the prejudiced mind and bias motive make it distinct from other criminal Acts. The 'HATE CRIMES' is already there in criminal jurisprudence of other developed countries. The primary criterion for a good lawyer to be adequate is that it should satisfy and get along with society's time and need. With all the happenings around us, there is a dire need for our Indian Criminal Justice system to create such an exclusive typology of offense. My Research work will impart basic knowledge about the topic and its related concepts, the need for a separate law, major branches of this criminality, and suggestions to bind this criminality into our penal system.
