Abstract: WireElectricDischargeMachining[WEDM}isathermal-eroslonprocesstomachlnethehardfocufconductivemoferial. This process is used for complex shapes, which have sharp edges that are difficult to machine using conventional machiningprocesses. SKD111s usedas ه workpiece andperformance analysis is done to findoutthe significant control factors for SKDl 1 مره using ٥٢١^ factor approach at a time. In this research paper, effect ه آ ؟٧٥٨٥٧ control factors like pulse on time, pulse time, servo voltage, peak current water pressure, wire tension, wire feed, peak voltage and, servo feed on cutting rate has been Investigated while machining on SKD11 using one variable at a time approach. Experiments show the response for differentparameters on WEDM. Cutting rate increases ٠$ the pulse on time andpeak currentlncreases. Cutting rate decreases with the pulse offtime and serva voltage increases. Wire feed and wire tension has no effect on cutting rate.
