It also a major contributor in India s export especially in export of petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and allied products. This state took first step in establishing free trade zone in the country as well as in Asia. Not only this, Gujarat has the distinction of being the first state to enact the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Act, 2004. |
