Health Care Financing- Conceptual Study of Health Care Financing in India

Abstract

The principal focus of this article is on critically evaluating the current status of the health care financing system - its organisational structure, financing mechanisms, etc. Such analysis has highlighted and reiterated several shortcomings in the countrya health system which are well known and have been recognized for long. What was also emerged is that the solutions for many of the issues have been known for long, but routinely ignored and not acted upon.
