dc.description.abstractIndia, which is moving towards services dominated GDP growth with a 9 per cent CAGR for services which is higher than the 5.8 per cent for non-services during 2000-01 to 2006-07, is also moving towards a services-dominated export growth with a CAGR of 28. 7 per cent for services during 2000-01 to 2006-07 which is higher than the 19 per cent for merchandise exports during the corresponding period. Services exports reached US$ 102 billion in 2008-09 with a moderate growth of 12.5 per cent over the previous year-
